The veterinarians that use these tools rely on Field Support Representatives (FSRs) to teach them how to make the best use of these products and to troubleshoot technical issues.

Being a Field Support Representative at IDEXX allows you to travel, meet new people, expand your knowledge and skillset, all while positively impacting the lives of pets and their owners. Our day to day consists of meeting new people and building relationships with customers. You will be provided with continued growth within your position through comprehensive training programs and wonderful development opportunities.

Areas of Field Support work

Diagnostics

Working as an Field Support Representative in Diagnostics, you would install In-House analyzers sold to veterinary clinics in your territory, and train the staff on sample prep, analyzer workflow, maintenance, and results interpretation.

Digital Imaging
Being part of Diagnostics Imaging, you would consult and educate the staff in the clinic on the best way to use IDEXX Diagnostic Imaging Systems. You would also assist with critical customer need visits, providing onsite support.

As an Field Support Representative for our Veterinary Software and Services, you would handle new software installations, go-live events, as well as  providing follow-up education and support.

Types of roles within Field Support

Area Field Support Manager
Our Area Field Support Mangers lead teams of Field Support Leaders who lead a team of customer-facing field professionals. They drive our mission of inspiring our customers’ loyalty, and driving growth in utilization of our products and services.
Regional Field Support Manager
Our Regional Field Support Managers develop our Field Support Representatives and help them increase the adoption and utilization of our products and services with their customers. They regularly partner and interact with multiple sales regions and their ecosystems.
Field Success Manager
Our Field Success Managers lead and support field teams that onboard and train veterinary practices on our services and solutions, such assoftware solutions, credit card processing, lab integrations, and other. These teams also support the veterinary practices when deciding to go chartless, and help them further utlilize our services to improve their day-to-day workflow.
Team Lead - Field Success Representatives
Our Team Leads for Field Success Representatives manage a team of professionals that visit clinics as they make their transitions from one service or software to another. They work with a variety of clinics, e.g. general practice, emergency speciality, a mobile clinic, and others.
Field Support Representative
Our Field Support Representatives are the professionals that offer a world-class onboarding experience with any clinic that has decided to partner with IDEXX - whether it is with in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, IDEXX reference labs, veterinary practice software, or other services.
Onboarding Specialist
Our Onboarding Specialists, for example in our veterinary software space, are responsible for setting up IDEXX products for clinics to allow their equipment (e.g., x-ray, ultrasound, dental, CT, and MRI images) to be stored in the IDEXX Cloud. The team is also responsible for providing the clinics all the tools and resources they need to feel comfortable utilizing the many features our software has to offer.
