When challenges arise the first question that’s asked is, “How will this affect the customer?” At IDEXX, this is our primary responsibility, not just an ideal. I’ve been able to take Six Sigma training to support problem solving across teams, building on each person’s knowledge and skills to reach the best solution. I’m fascinated by the company culture of “getting it done.” It doesn’t matter if we’ve never done it before; if someone has an idea that brings value to our customer, our industry or our business, then IDEXX finds a way to accomplish it.  

​​​​​​​IDEXX’s involvement in the community is something that I’m particularly proud of. As part of our community GIVE program, I’ve had the chance to teach STEM and robotics classes through 4H.
